But it takes the right kind of instruction, and the right instructor. Book a lesson with the Rehoboth Beach Boarding School and not only will you get the most experienced teachers on the Delaware shore, but we promise you'll have a blast too!
Rehoboth Beach Boarding School lessons take place in two sessions each day, seven days a week - Memorial Day through September. The sessions will begin in the morning or afternoon - exact times will vary depending on tide schedules - and each lasts for two hours.
Each day we can accomodate 10 surfers per lesson, with two instructors in the water at all times. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
The cost of a lesson is $65 per person and everything you'll need is provided -- just bring a bathing suit and a towel. We only ask students to be on the beach 30 minutes before their lesson is to begin.
Private lessons are a great way to really hone your surfing skills. It's just you and your instructor in the water. This one-on-one lesson revolves around your schedule and the ocean to put you in surf at the optimal time. Just fill out the online form and be sure to check the "interested in private lessons" box. We will call you to set up your one hour private class. Private lessons are $105. Rehoboth Boarding School also offers private group lessons.

CANCELLATION
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day you've booked a lesson, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. If you need to cancel a lesson yourself, please contact us at least a full day before the lesson.
